Dr. Mahesh Ranjan Debata did his Post Graduation from Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, and M. Phil and Ph. D from Central Asian Studies Programme, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He is the Sub-Editor of the quarterly journal Himalayan and Central Asian Studies, which is being published since 1997.
