| 2. | - Да-да, это я. Только говори громче - плохо слышно. | - Yeah, it's me/ But speak louder because it is really hard to hear. |
| 3. | - Егор, я прилетаю завтра. не мог бы ты встретить меня в аэропорту? | - Igor, I am coming tomorrow. Could you meet me at the airport? |
| 4. | - Без проблем, только мне нужно знать время прилёта и номер рейса. | - Yeah, no problem. I just need to know the time and your flight number. |
| 5. | - Запиши: рейс 1262, прилетает в семь. | - Write this down. Flight number 1262, arriving at 7:00 o'clock. |
| 6. | - Готово. Проверь: рейс 1262, прилетает в семь. Правильно? | - Got it. Let's verify: flight 1262, arriving at 7:00 o' clock. Right? |

- You don't look very good today. Are you sick? |

- Да нет, просто устал. День был тяжелый. |
- No not really, I'm jus tired. It was a rough day. |
| 3. |
- Тяжелый? А мне показалось, что ты весь день провёл дома. |
- Rough& I though you spent the entire day at home. |
| 4. |
- Ну и что, лучше бы я поехал на работу. Дома хуже каторги. Целый день звонит телефон. Одному надо одно, другому - другое, третьему - третье. Только сядешь за компьютер, как надо опять бежать к телефону. |
- yeah, so? It would have been better if I had gone to work. At home it is terrible. The telephone rings the entire day. One person needs one thing, a second person another, and a third another. I just sit down at my computer and I have to get up and run to the phone again. |

- Who's making you answer the phone? You could, after all, just unplug it. |

| 2. | - Да ты что! Колосова? Из пятой группы? | - You are kidding! Andrei Kolosov? From the 5th group? |
| 3. | - Того самого. | - The one and only. |
| 4. | - С ума сойти! Кажется, 100 лет прошло. | - No way! It seems like it's been a hundred years since I've seen him. |
| 5. | - Вот именно так он и выглядит. | - Well that's exactly how he looks. |
| 6. | - Да ладно, брось ты. Это наш-то супермен? | - Whatever, give it up. Our superman? |
| 7. | - Представь себе. Он очень сдал. Ты ведь знаешь, что он теперь тележурналист? | - You can't imagine how he has aged. you know that he's now a TV journalist? |

Да и одет как будто с чужого плеча. А что с ним случилось? | - That's for sure. I was racking my brains trying to figure out where I'd seen that journalist before? And it's Andrei. I never would have guessed. He has really changed: he's gone bald, gained weight and has circles under his eyes. And he dresses terribly as well. What happened to him? |
