Journal
The Centre brings out a triennial journal Contemporary Central Asia. This is a forum for discussion on various issued pertaining to Russia, Central Asia, Caucasus, Caspian, Slavic and Baltic regions that belonged to the Former Soviet Union, and Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The Forum publishes a monthly newsletter that contains the latest developments in these regions. The newsletter remains an important source of information capsule for Research scholars in the Centre or anyone who is interested in the region.
Library
The Centre has established a library and documentation centre for the purpose of quick and ready reference. It is dedicated to the memory of late Prof. Jayashekhar, who served the Centre. Dr Bishwanath Thakur is the in-charge of this Centre library.
