MicroSystems Lab (µSL) is an interdisciplinary research facility at the School of Computer & Systems Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, dedicated to the development of microsystems and advanced sensing technologies. The laboratory's research spans MEMS, RF-MEMS, BioMEMS, wireless sensors, Internet of Things (IoT), polymer-based technologies and triboelectric energy harvesting. The laboratory works across the complete research cycle, including device design, electromagnetic simulation, fabrication, characterization, and experimental validation. Current research includes microwave biosensors, label-free sensing, RF and microwave devices, IoT-enabled sensing systems, polymer MEMS, and triboelectric energy harvesters, with an emphasis on cost-effective and application-oriented technologies.
