Rakhee Bhattacharjee completed her Ph.D from Department of Economics, Gauhati University. She was an Endeavour Post doctoral fellow in Australia. Her areas of research interest are political economy, development economics, regional economy, transnational economy and geo-economics, poverty and inequality, geopolitics, India’s Northeast and its neighbourhood

Lipokmar Dzuvichu completed his Ph.D. from Centre for Historical Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. His areas of interest are history of frontiers and borderlands, transport history, labour history, history of goods and circulation, and visual history.

G. Amarjit Sharma completed his Ph.D. from Centre for Political Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Before joining JNU, he taught political science at Nambol L. Sanoi College, Nambol, Manipur. His areas of interest are political anthropology of state and society, politics and poetics of identity, political transitions and debates on democracy and sovereignty, ethnicity, developmental schemes and power politics.

Manjeet Baruah completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Modern Indian Language and Literary Studies, University of Delhi. His areas of interest are cultural history, study of space and text, translation studies, culture and resource regimes, memoirs and biographies, and study of frontiers and borderlands.

Khuraijam Bijoykumar Singh completed his M.A, M. Phil and Ph.D. from Centre for Study of Social Systems, Jawaharlal Nehru University. Before joining JNU, he taught Sociology of Education at North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), Shillong, a constituent unit of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi. His areas of interest includes social context of education and culture, religion, peasant studies, identity and state formation in North East India.
