WSDC LOGO DESIGN COMPETITION
Women's Studies and Development Centre of Advanced Study (WSDC), University of Delhi, was established three decades ago to address women's concerns in higher education. Since then, WSDC has covered a long distance by expanding its programmes and activities like direction of teaching, research and action. It has made an impact in introducing gender studies as a critical component of higher education and in raising awareness on women's and gender issues. The WSDC, DU is holding a logo design contest for the Centre. This contest is open to all students enrolled in all Universities located in Delhi, barring students of distance and open learning.
The logo design needs to reflect the core ideas of Women's Studies Development Centre, University of Delhi. The themes may centre on:
- The Contemporary aspirational women
- Women's Development
- Role of education in women's development
- Challenges faced by women
Participants are required to submit designs of the logo in monochrome (in single colour) in A4 size by a file attachment in Email addressed to: wsdclogodesign@gmail.com. The participant may submit a maximum of two entries.
Entries must be submitted on or before 10th March, 2019. Entries must be accompanied with certification from the head of the institution/department regarding its authenticity. Please see attached proforma.
Prize money of rupees 10,000 will be given to the winner. The decision of the judges will be final. The copyright of the design along with right to modifications will be held by Women's Studies and Development Centre, University of Delhi.
