Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow in a Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) funded project entitled “Design and development of Novel High Gain Linearly/Circularly Polarized Wideband Antennas using Metasurface/Metamaterial for Wireless Communication”, under the supervision of Dr.Ashwani Kumar, School of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Essential Qualification: The applicant must have M.E/M Tech. in Electronics & Communication/M.Sc. Electronics or equivalent with CGPA above 7.0 (on 10.0 scale) or percentage greater than 70% aggregate. This is a minimum qualification for application. The shortlisting will be done based on the applicant's grades in M. Tech, B. Tech or equivalent degrees & their experience in relevant areas. Candidates having knowledge or experience of RF design tools (HFSS, CST, ADS etc.) are encouraged to apply.
Fellowship/Salary: As per SERB norms, fellowship is ₹31,000/- p.m. plus HRA as permissible.
Duration: 2 Years
The selected candidate will be initially appointed on a purely temporary basis for one year and renewable for the second year, subject to satisfactory performance in the first year duration of
the project.

Note:
1. All service conditions are the same as per the Office Memorandum SR/S9/Z-08/2018 dated 30th January 2019 issued by the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
2. The position is temporary and renewable each year, subject to satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.
3. The date of the interview will be informed later to the shortlisted candidates through Email. Due to unforeseen circumstances arising out of the COVID-19 pandemic, the interview will be conducted online via Google Meet or ZOOM.
4. Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated to appear in the interview and no other communications in this regard will be entertained.
5. Documents for proof of age, certificates, degrees, marks sheets, experience certificates (if any), CV and other testimonials must be uploaded online using the Google form link as a single PDF file in the link provided above.
6. No TA/DA will be paid if the interview is conducted in physical mode.
