Applications are invited for a post of Junior Research Fellow in a CSIR-funded Project entitled: "Regulation Of Muscle Atrophy In GNE Deicient Skeletal Muscle Cells : Pathological Relevance To Rare Neuromuscular Disease" (Project ID: 37/1746/23/EMRII) at School of Biotechnology, JNU. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year that may be extended based on the performance on yearly basis till the completion of project.

Essential Qualifications & Experience: B.S (4 year program)/B.Pharm/MBBS/Integrated B.S-M.S/M.Sc/B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree with 55% marks and NET-LS/GATE test
Desirable: Basic knowledge of working in the molecular biology laboratory with mammalian cells alongwith basic computational skills would be a plus.
Salary: 31000/- p.m.
Age Limit: JRF 28 years
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relax-able up-to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled caste/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates.
Appointment will be purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on qualifications/experience depending on the number of applications received.
