Applications were invited for the following 02 (TWO) post in DST sponsored project titled "Detection and quantification of forest structure and function in the Himalayan foothills using in situ and remotely sensed hyperspectral data"
Post: Junior Research Fellow (TWO)
Salary: As per DST scale
Duration: Till project ends or April 2019; which-so-ever is earlier
Essential qualification:
1. Masters' in Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics/Physics/Computer Sciences/ Environmental Sciences/Environmental Studies/Forestry with practical knowledge of hyper-spectral remote sensing
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Working experience in ENVI.
2. Working knowledge of IDL/Matlab/R or other similar packages.
3. National Eligibility Test (NET)
Applications with complete bio-data with latest photograph along-with attested photocopy of supporting documents should reach the undersigned latest by 15th June 2016. Only hard copy of the application will be entertained.
The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project.
