Agroecological principles and sustainable management of agroecosystems
Diverse agroecosystems in India are delivering various ecosystem services. However, several abiotic and biotic factors affect the agroecosystems services and thus productivity and sustainability. We assess region-specific traditional agroecosystems, such as Homegardens in Assam and Homesteads in Kerala. These traditional agroecosystems are getting renewed attention as a climate-resilient system.
