Effect of environmental variables on agroecosystem and vice versa.
Climate change and phytotoxic air pollutants are affecting vegetations and agroecosystems. We assess plant life forms and crops (underutilized crops, vegetables, cereals, etc.) to climate change and air pollutants. The phytotoxic impact of ozone varies from crop to crop and within crop cultivars, as some crop cultivars are more sensitive than others.
Soil plays a key role in agroecosystem sustainable productivity. The research work in this domain aims to understand the relationship between the nature of the soil and agroecological practices.
