Applications are invited for a post of Research Assistant in an ICSSR sponsored major research project on Consequences of Male Out migration from Rural West Bengal with a fixed salary of Rs.20,000/-p.m.
Qualifications:
Essential: At least Master’s Degree in any discipline of Social Science with a minimum of 55% marks along with NET/SLET. Candidate must be ready to lead field work in remote areas of West Bengal. Knowledge of Bengali will be an added advantage.
Desirable: M.Phil in Population and Development related issues. Acquaintance with GIS will be an added advantage.
Duration: Initially for six months, extendable up to six more months.
