Abstract
As teaching is a continual process of learning, a teacher never arrives. With wonder, dialogue, openness, art of seeing and listening, one ought to reflect on the process of transaction of knowledge and the communion between the teacher and the taught. In a violent world filled with totalitarian politics, one-dimensional/ instrumental thinking and technologies of surveillance, it is important to look at ourselves, our pedagogic practices, and our vocation. The lecture seeks to raise the issues relating to critical pedagogy, philosophy of education, reflexive sociology and everydayness of classroom practices in the formal sites of learning.
