'Population Control Policy:Necessity'

As per the current demographic statistics, India's population is slated to rise  by almost 350 million over the next quarter century, twice as fast as China, United States and Western Europe combined. The population rise will drag India into a vicious cycle of population and poverty leading to major problems of illiteracy, unemployment and inflation. Thus it becomes a necessity for us to discuss, develop and devise methods to control this growing population.

NSS-JNU has invited the man who has been working on the issue of Population control for a long time now and has played a significant role in drafting this policy, Shri. Manu Gaur (President of TAXAB).

Guest of Honour for the lecture would be Prof. Dipendra Nath Das, CSRD and Prof. R.P.Singh, will be chairing the session.

NSS-JNU would thereby like you to take out time from your busy schedule and join the gathering and work towards the betterment of the society.
