The Department of Science & Technology (CCP & SPLICE), Govt of India Sponsored Project on the Himalayan Cryosphere: Science & Society.
Applications were invited for the post of JRF (A)/Research Associate (B) (Purely Temporary) in the above project awarded to Dr. Milap Chand Sharma as the Principal Investigator.
The terms and conditions of the appointment are as under:
1. A) Essential Qualifications: M.A./M.Sc. Geography (with at least 55% marks) for JRF
2. B) Ph D. in Earth Surface Processes from a recognised University/Institution for RA.
3. B) Desirable: i) UGC/CSIR NET
ii) Thorough in field techniques & laboratory applications
iii) Proven ability to work in the High Altitudes Areas
4. Tenure: Up to March 2018
5. Remunerations: As per the DST Norms
