Applications are invited for a post in a DST-SERB-funded Project entitled: "Characterization of transcriptional dynamics during male and female reproductive organ development in Sorghum'' at School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, JNU. The selected candidate will be appointed purely on temporary basis, initially for one year which may be extended till the validity of the projectbased on assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority
Position: Junior Research Fellow(1)
Essential Qualifications & Experience: Candidate must have M.Sc. or MCA or M.Tech. degree (with minimum 60% marks) in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Genetics/Computational Sciences or any related field with hands-on experience intranscriptome sequencing data analysis.
Desirable: Basic knowledge in the field of molecular biology with hands on experience in transcriptome sequencingdata analysis and qPCR is desirable. Candidates with NET/CSIR would be given preference.
Appointment will be purely on temporary basis and co-terminus with the project. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on qualifications/experience depending on the number of applications received.
