Advertisement for Research Analyst
Applications are invited for one post of Research Analyst, on contract, on a consolidated salary in the range of Rs.18,000-24,000 per month, for a period of 4 months to work for the NABARD Chair unit of the Institute. The post may be extended depending on the work efficiency of the candidate and project status. The candidate is required to work in areas related to evaluation of climate change adaptation projects and project on heat waves and livelihood in urban setting. Along with help in literature review and data analysis, the candidate may have to supervise survey work and visit the field areas in remote part of the country.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate should have a good academic record, with at least a second class Master’s degree in Economics/Environmental Economics/ Agricultural Economics /Statistics/ Econometrics. Candidates should also have good knowledge of MS-Office, in particular MS-Excel and econometric packages like STATA and E-Views.
Candidates who are already working in an organization must send their application through the proper channels. The Institute reserves the right not to fill up the position if circumstances so warrant. Other things being equal, SC/ST/OBC candidates will be preferred. The Institute may consider eligible persons who might not have applied.
